For this year’s meetup, we will be hosting a planned session: Considering Electronic and Synthesized Sound.
We are thrilled to announce that Jennifer Iverson (University of Chicago) will give a featured talk on the topic of her current book project, Porous Instruments: Synthesizers and the Circulation of Cultural Value.
In addition to this featured talk, we will have two introductory presentations by Kate Mancey (Harvard University) and Noah Kahrs (Eastman School of Music) that will serve as catalysts for discussion with our featured speaker and our members. Full meeting schedule below.
